Francisco Estupiñán-Romero, PhD candidate, MD MPH MHA.
He holds a fellowship in the Health Services and Policy Research group at the Institute for Health Sciences in Aragon. He is member of the Spanish Atlas of Variations in Medical Practice group, and the Health Services and the Network for Research on Chronic Diseases (REDISSEC). His main research areas are health systems performance and methods for the secondary use of real life data in comparative effectiveness research, health technology and health policy assessment. Francisco has participated in multiple national and international competitive funded projects including the Joint Action on Health Information, BRIDGE-Health (www.bridge-health.eu), and ECHO (www.echo-health.eu). Currently, he is contributing to IctusNet (http://ictusnet-sudoe.eu/en/) and the Joint Action on Health Information (https://www.inf-act.eu/).
